Join Hachette Board Games UK at the Manchester Board Game Festival for an action-packed weekend of gaming! On Saturday at 1 PM, they’ll be hosting an EPIC Slide Tournament—and you won’t want to miss it!

How to Play Slide

The goal of Slide is simple: get rid of as many cards as possible to keep your score as low as you can!

💠 Each player starts with a 4x4 grid of face-down cards (numbered 1–10).
💠 Reveal one card to kick things off—whoever reveals the lowest number goes first!
💠 On your turn, claim a revealed card, then slide it into your grid to fill the gap you created.
💠 Play continues until all cards are face-up. Any matching numbers adjacent to each other are removed, and the remaining total is your final score.
💠 The player with the lowest score wins!
